Nursing Care

Nursing Care will include all the services we have available to keep you and your family member safe, healthy and comfortable.

An individualized care plan will be developed for each client even if we care for multiple members in the same household.
Medication management can be done, which includes monitoring medications and making sure that refills are done in a timely manner. A nurse will also be available to do a medication set up into pill containers either weekly or biweekly to ensure proper dosages and times are followed as prescribed.
Nurse home visits will be made to follow up on care plan effectiveness and clients satisfaction. A home visit can also be made by request if there is a concern noted by the client or family.
Wound care can be provided but must have an order with instructions per doctor.
Vital signs can be monitored daily if requested. This can also be completed during a scheduled nurse visit or if the client feels it needs to be completed, provided proper equipment is in the home.
Patient education can be provided regarding illness or injury that requires nursing care to be performed. Also, if there are general questions that are had, those can be answered as well. Education will also be provided regarding medications and any side effects that may be experienced.
